Brimsdown is a happy, vibrant and inclusive nursery and primary school, set in beautiful grounds in Enfield. We welcome children from the age of three into our Outstanding early years provision and 60 pupils join our Reception classes each year. 

We are a school for the whole community and we pride ourselves on the strong relationships we have with our families. Every child at Brimsdown gets a healthy breakfast before school so that they start the day ready to learn, and our wraparound care supports busy families who know that their child is safe and happy at school. 

We are committed to developing the whole child. Our pupils grow into independent, motivated and ambitious learners who are ready to embrace any challenges that they may face. Our extensive extracurricular offer gives children the opportunity to try new things and find their strengths and passions. Brimsdown pupils are happy, motivated and engaged learners and this was recognised in our latest Ofsted report, where our school was rated Outstanding for Behaviour and Attitudes. 

Brimsdown is an inclusive school where every child learns British Sign Language. We have a deaf resource base and autism hub for children with additional needs and we also host courses and workshops for parents and the wider community. When your child joins Brimsdown so does the whole family, and we are here to support you. 

We are part of Ivy Learning Trust, a family of schools in Enfield and Hertfordshire who work together to give children a great education. This gives Brimsdown pupils the opportunity to take part in exciting inter-school events such as the Ivy Parliament and our annual celebration Ivy’s Got Talent.
